This Privacy Policy applies to the Rippl mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") developed by Rippl Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Application.

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, device identifiers for the purpose of authentication and security (planned feature)

  • Images selected from device gallery or camera for post creation
  • Default settings (platform, tone, target audience)
  • User-created templates and templates marked as favorites

Purpose of Collection

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

• Application Improvement: To improve the Application's functionality, performance, and user experience
• AI Post Generation: To generate post drafts, captions, and hashtags using AI
• Risk Assessment: To assess potential flame risks of posts and provide suggestions
• User Authentication: To prevent unauthorized access and ensure security (planned feature)
• Advertising: To display relevant advertisements (planned feature)

2. Data Storage

All user-provided information is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This includes:

• User-created post templates
• Favorite template IDs
• Usage statistics
• App settings (default platform, tone, target audience)
• Post generation history

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you continue to use the Application. If you uninstall the Application, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device.

3. Third-Party Services

AI Service (OpenAI)

The Application uses OpenAI's API through a Cloudflare Workers proxy to generate post drafts, captions, and assess post risks. When you use the AI generation feature, the following information may be sent to OpenAI:

• Your text description or voice input
• Images you upload (for analysis)
• Selected platform, tone, and target audience

OpenAI may use this data to improve their services according to their Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with OpenAI for marketing or advertising purposes.

Google Services (Planned)

Google Analytics 4

We plan to use Google Analytics 4 to analyze Application usage and improve user experience. This service may automatically collect user information using cookies and advertising identifiers.

AdMob

We plan to implement AdMob to display advertisements within the Application. AdMob may use cookies and advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.

4. Data Sharing

  • Deleting individual templates, history items, or settings within the Application
  • Uninstalling the Application to permanently remove all data from your device
• Opt-Out: You can opt out of data collection by uninstalling the Application
• Inquiry: You can request information disclosure, correction, or deletion by contacting us

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

• Local storage on your device (not transmitted to cloud)
• Secure API communications using HTTPS
• No storage of sensitive authentication credentials

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected such information, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
